The state saw just 60 new reported cases last week, down 11 from the previous week.

Reported COVID-19 infections in South Dakota continued to decline in Wednesday’s weekly update from the Department of Health (DOH).
The state saw just 60 new reported cases last week, down 11 from the previous week.
For the second straight week, no COVID-related fatalities were posted. The pandemic death toll remains at 3,400.
Eight new hospitalizations were posted, down five from the previous week.
In area South Dakota counties, new cases were reported in Clay (+2), Union (+4) and Yankton (+1) counties.
Charles Mix County reported one new hospitalization.
